This book is the definition of “what is for you will find you at the right time.” It is an emotional read set on a charming beach. I must confess it has been a while since a book made me cry, and this one definitely did.

I must admit I went back and forth between being team Finn or team Tom, but ultimately I was team Tom. I loved how @paigetoonauthor wrote this and the story unfolded between past and present. Throughout the story I questioned a lot of Finn’s decisions but the character growth towards the end made it all make sense.

I thought Liv’s story was extremely heartbreaking and the way she pushed through despite so much pain was beautiful, ultimately coming out on top. I also loved the side characters, specifically her older brother Michael. 🤍🧩

✨ the story follows Liv, who met Finn six summers ago working in a bar on the rugged Cornish coastline. When a night of passion ends in tragedy they are bound together inextricably. Their stories will intertwine over the course of seven summers. In the present, Liv is beginning something new with Tom, who also holds a secret. Liv is unable to shake Finn and her past, while falling for Tomas.
